I don't know where he is buried, either,, but I will add these possible pieces of the puzzle. Lucy Wells married William Boswell, and they are buried in Clinton Falls Cemetery. Her sister Mary Wells married David Boswell, and he is buried in Long Branch Cemetery. Nicey Jane Wells was William Boswell's 1st wife, and she is buried in Long Branch Cemetery. The Wrights were also closely connected to the Wells and Boswells. and there are a number of them in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. This information came from my Mother's notes. Carol, I have Jane Wells Whitted, dau of John & Nancy Smith Wells of Claiborne County, TN. She was born: May 16, 1831 in Claiborne Co., TN d: January 28, 1898 in Putnam County, Indiana Burial: Brick Chapel Cemetary, Putnam Co., IN Have you ever seen any Whited/Whitted/Whitehead (any spelling of the name) in your family notes of Wells? Also my Dad's sister, Marie COX WELLS married John E. Wells (b. January 24, 1905) of Putnam County. I know he fits that Putnam Co. line he comes under the "Lum" Columbus Wells. ( I have his wife listed as Mary Ann Boswell. Their son Oscar & his wife Stella Miller were John Wells parents. ) Marie Cox Wells was a g-grandaughter of Jane Wells Whitted. Nellie Amanda Whitted Cox was a dau of John W. Whitted who was a son of Sylvester & Jane Wells Whitted. John was born in 1856 in Union Co., TN I am pretty sure. Jane & Sylvester were in 1860 census there married with 4 little ones. Sylvester signed up with the Union Army in Jeffersonville, IN in Sept 1861 and by middle of 1860's Jane & he had settled in Putnam Co., IN.
