The Garst Family is also associated with the Peffleys, who came from Botetourt County Virginia after coming from Lebanon County Pa, before that. Gail Honeyman once wrote to me about Martin Shuey, named in Jacob Peffley, II will: Martin Shuey served as guardian of some of the children of Jacob Peffley, II. The fact that the children chose a man of the Reformed faith does not indicate a close connection, if one at all to the Dunkers.
