Thomas Broadstreet was bn abt 1775, believed to be North Carolina, died 1858 in Putnam County IN. He came to Putnam County by 1830 as that is where he first appears in Census records. His wife Lurany/Luriana was bn abt 1782 in North Carolina and died 2 May 1857 in Broadpark, IN Their children: 1.John bn 1807 North Carolina died after 1880 in Putnam County. On 9 Oct 1826 he married Malinda Little. In 1830 he married Elizabeth Hibbs 2.Asena bn 3 Dec 1808, Edgecomb County, NC died after 1880 in Hendricks County IN. on2 Aug 1827 she marred James Hibbs 3. female bn 1810 4. female bn 1811 5. Thomas bn 1813 in Indiana died aft 1880 in Hendricks Co IN. On 19 Jul 1836 in Morgan Co IN he married Jane Eliza Gentry. 6. James bn 1815 in Washington Co IN died 23 Oct 1881 in Putnam Co IN. On 9 Mar 1840 in Morgan Co In he married Melvina America Gentry. 7. Mary Ann bn 9 Mar 1817, Clark Co In died 9 Dec 1881 in Hendricks Co In. On 29 Dec 1836 in Putnam Co In she married Daniel Osborn III. 8. Samuel bn abt 1820 in Indiana possibly Jackson County. On 1 Jul 1841 in Clermont County OH he was married to Amanda M. McGrew. Have not been able to find this family anywhere on census records. 9. Rhoda bn 4 Jan 1822 probably Jackson County died bef 1857. On 1 Jun 1840 in pUtnam County she was married to Elisha Wood. Elisha remarried on 8 Sep 1857 to Phebe Phillips. 10. Laura bn abt 1825 in Putnam County IN believed to have died in Nebraska. On 3 Nov 1843 in Putnam Co she was married John Nelson Morton. This is my direct line. 11. Rachel bn 1824/25 Putnam County died after 1860 census. On 5 Apr 1849 in Putnam County she was married to John Wallace. 12. Avarelah Evaline bn 1826 Putnam Co IN died after 1900 in Wabash County IN. On 1 Feb 1852 in Putnam Co she was married to Edmund Heavenridge. 13. Eliza Ann bn 9 Mar 1823 in Putnam Co IN died aft 1880 in Cass County MO. On 9 Mar 1840 in Putnam Co she was married to James Madison Morton who is a brother to John Nelson Morton.
