Hello List, I am looking for information concerning John C. AKERS and his wife Mary E. LONG. I do know that John C. Akers was living with his son, Charles E. AKERS, in Washington in 1930 and that his wife died in 1901. I did find a listing of a John C. AKERS in the Indiana State Prison and the information in the 1910 census matches that of the John C. AKERS who married Mary E. LONG. I was wondering if anyone had any information on how Mary E. LONG-AKERS died or why John C. AKERS was in prison, as she was a sister to my ggggrandmother. I do know she is buried in the Cloverdale Cem. I did see a Deb Barker Rawlings as a contact for the AKERS surname on the Putnam Co., Rootsweb site, but her email address listed there is no longer valid. Sincerely, David Anderson
