    1. Re: [INPUTNAM] Kelley family
    2. Jo Anna, I believe the Fannie you mention as the wife of James Kelley, was Fannie Moore daughter of Thomas out of Montgomery County, Kentucky prior to removing to Putnam County, Indiana. In early land records for Putnam County I found a series of deeds where Thomas sells/transfers land for "love and affection" to his daughters and son. Here is a quick note from my files for the land he deeded to Fanny Kelly: Thomas Moore sold to Fanny Kelly for love and affection on August 11, 1827, land described as SW Sec 15 Twp13N Rng 4W [page 265 Volume A]. Thomas Moore had purchased this land 1 Apr 1824. The land deeds stated the grantors were Thomas Moore and his wife Ann however, I have not proven that Ann was the mother of the children. The land that was transferred for love and affection was the land that was from his original land patent that was issued in 1824 to "Thomas Moore of Montgomery County, Kentucky." You are most welcome to contact me directly on this family. I welcome another researcher to dialog with and exchange information on this Moore line.
