I know that in some Indiana counties, up to a certain point in time, only the names of bride and groom, plus the preacher are mentioned in the marriage record. After that point, ages, parents, etc. are also listed. I don't know just when that was started, but I think it was pretty late. I would like to know when the change took place. . . James R.
