Banner Graphic, June 20 1984 Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday from Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, Greencastle. Mr. Willis died Friday at Putnam County Hospital. Interment will be in Boone-Hutcheson Cemetery. Pastor Perry Stakes will officiate. Friends may call from noon until 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home. Born May 2, 1921in Tippecanoe County, he was the son of James D. and Ann (Cunningham) Willis. A World War II army veteran he was employed by Rainey Security and was a retired electrician. Mr. Willis was a member of VFW Post 1550, Greencastle, and Owen Lodge NO. 655, F. & AM, Quincy. Survivors include his mother, Ann Cunningham, Greencastle; a son, James D. Willis II, Rockville; three brothers, Bill Willis, Atlanta, ILL.,Robert Lee, Mooresville, and Frank Lee, New York, and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father.
