    2. James R. Baker, Jr.
    3. I haven't sent for any Probate Records from Putnam. I would assume that you send to the County Clerk in the courthouse for copies. Someone on the list who lives there may be able to tell you more about it. Jim . . James R. 1. Moore/Moors brickwall
    2. S Gage
    3. I was born in Greencastle and my ancestors migrated from Boone Co., IN to there. I have a brickwall that I can't get past. All the information below is verified. I cannot get further back than Jerry Moore and Phoebe Mogason My gggrandparents were Jerry Moore and Phoebe Mogason both born in KY. My ggrandfather was Madison Moore and my ggrandmother was Armilda Griffin. Madison was born in Madison Co., IN in 1832 and died in Sugar Creek, Boone Co., in Jan 1911. He, my ggrandmother and my grandparents and a lot of the others of the family are all buried in the Forest Lawn Cem., in Greencastle. In 1870 Census Jefferson Twp., Morgan Co., IN In 1880 Census Madison MOORE 49 Indiana Self Married White Male Jefferson, Boone, IN In 1900 Census Index Moore Madison 67 IN Monroe Twp., Putnam Co., IN In 1910 Census Sugar Creek Twp., Boone Co., IN living with my grandparents William E Sanford and his wife Mary F Moore. Evidently the move to Putnam Co., was after this census and being that Madison died in Sugar Creek in 1911 and his death certificate states my grandmother (who signed it) lived in Thorntown, Boone Co., IN at the time of his death.
