I'm looking for anyone who might have any information on the STOBAUGH--STOBUCK...or other spellings of the name.......family..... I found them on the 1850 census living in Floyd Twp......no father listed only a Mother ?Earsley? Stobuck b. VA...children Joseph, Eliza, Margaret, Jacob P., Lorisa and Emily..... 1860 census:no father listed again...mother....Ursula Stobaugh b. VA....children, Jacob D., Louisa, & Emma......Eliza and Joseph had died in 1855 within a month of each other..... Eliza Ellen married GEORGE BALDWIN 1854.....she died a year later leaving a daughter MARY ANN BALDWIN.....this is my line......but looking for any family information on Any STOBAUGH families in the area in Putnam county. Looking for information on an ELIZABETH STOBUCK b.1807 VA.d. 1884 ....living in Putnam Co and Mont. Co. 1850...1860...til her death there...in Mont. Co. Could have possibly been an Aunt to Eliza Ellen Stobaugh?? Please let me know if you have any information on any members of this family. Thanks so much, N.J. :-) in MI.
