I am tracing the Carter lineage and the marriage of Eliza Nutterfee and John Carter. They married sometime around 1835 in either IN or KY. Eliza however married a Andrew Pittman May 22,1823 I have this fromthe book of marriage bonds and consent of Nelson county KY. I however need to find an instance of their marriage ending so that she later married John Carter. I have checked for evidence of Andrew Pittman's burial in IN but there is nothing.I can not only find no proof of the Nutterfee -Carter marriage of which I know there was as they have nine children together and were together till her death in 1866 in Owen county,IN.I also can find no proof of the desolution of the Nutterfee-Pittman marriage. Any help would be appreciated. Debbie
