In trying to flesh out my own family tree I have encountered a number of entries (births, deaths, marriages) of a family of O'Conners living in the Roachdale area. There were, if my inferences are correct, two men who emigrated from Ireland - Michael and James - who settled there. Michael married Mary Sweeney and they had at least one son, Hugh (b. 27 Jan 1892), who married Leatha Davis. James married Honorra (various spellings) Curtain; something happened there, because when their daughter Maggie died in 1896, James is listed as the father, but the mother's space is "-----". I also saw an entry of an "Honorra O'Conner" marrying another individual in the 1880s, although I can't find it now. Divorce, remarriage, and hard feelings to the point Honorra wasn't even listed on her daughter's death certificate? There's a story there, I just wish I knew it. Is puzzlement. If anyone can use this meager data I'd be glad to forward it. If anyone knows whether there is a connection to John, William, and Timothy O'Conner of the Cloverdale/Cunot area, I'd like to hear that, too. Thanks Roy O'Conner
