    3. thanks Sharon but the items on the GenExchange also come from research in libraries and reference manuals as I do these myself. I appreciate your good wishes and I did put a link to your page on mine but I don't think it would be correct for me to state that any of your info is not accurate as I do know that yours comes from contributors also. We do on the genexchange require alot of documentation and source notes, it is not just what is off the top of someones head. I was however sent the following message from the creator of the GenExchange to forward to you, and so I will. Please send Sharon the following: We are very aware that Indiana, as well as other areas of the US did not have census taken for the years you have listed below. (an others) These links are there, but we are in the process of doing some editing. No one ever said the INGenWeb was lacking in anything. The INGenExchange has a different way of doing things, displaying information, and is different in many other ways. Since you are associated with the INGenWeb, you must be familiar with their terms, goals, etc. To find out more about the GenExchange, simply visit "About the GenExchange" at: http://www.genexchange.com/volunteers.cfm or read some of the 'Exchange" newsletter archives at: http://www.genexchange.com/gesr/archive.cfm These urls should tell you everything you need to know. No one project has a monoply on Genealogy. We are all free to participate within a project, or on our own without the assumption that one is lacking. Or ideas may be different, but the ulitmate goals are the same, to provide the researcher with free information online. The more info available to them, the better. Lookup volunteers: Each volunteer lists what resources they have available to them. There is a very wide variety. Some simply offer lookups in books, records etc they have onhand at home, in a close by local library, archives, courthouse etc. Other off to do some research at these other locations as well. It is up to the individual themselves as to what they offer.
