To the Listers: I am going to unsubscribe from this list for the time being. I have been maligned and flamed enough over the current topic for one week's time. I simply offered a different search site for availability and it has become a major issue and taken over this list. It is my firm belief that we live in America, which is a land of choices and the freedom to make those choices. As one person pointed out "why go to 2 websites" well, my research would be much easier and convenient if I could do it all from just one website, but I can't I use various areas. I have received many letters that appreciate the choice, and I thank you. I can assure you though, aside from what has been stated that the sources used for the items posted on the GenExchange are just as valid as those on the Gen Web sites, reference books are reference books, irregardless of the person searching them.As with ANY website, NOTHING should be taken at face value you should always verify everything. Any of you that choose to reach me may do so and you know how to privately. If anyone recalls I "invited" people to the website I commanded nobody. Thanks for the votes of confidence and I hope everyone starting a new website on any subject doesn't get the razing I received as there would be only one website on the internet and not really worth paying for or looking at.
