Grateful for any information concerning John ELLIOTT, my great great grandfather. Particularly interested in any clues about his ancestors. John ELLIOTT was born in Kentucky about 1824. He was married twice, both times in Putnam County, Indiana. Marriage to first wife, Emily WRIGHT, on 29 January 1846. She was born in Indiana. Marriage to second wife, Elizabeth ALEXANDER (my great great grandmother), on 30 April 1855. She was born in Ireland. John and Elizabeth moved to Champaign County, Illinois, where both died in 1868. -- Cats rule--dogs drool.
