He married MARGARET GORHAM 18 June 1831 in Putnam Co., IN, daughter of ALEXANDER GORHAM and SARAH TYLER. Children of JAMES STOBAUGH and MARGARET GORHAM are: i. ALEXANDER2 STOBAUGH, b. Abt. 1832. ii. JACKSON STOBAUGH, b. Abt. 1834. iii. SARAH MARGARET STOBAUGH, b. 31 January 1836, Putnam Co, IN; d. 12 February 1910; m. TAYLOR SANDERS. Notes for SARAH MARGARET STOBAUGH: Sarah STOBAUGH's mother died when she was about 1 years old. In 1850 she is residing with her maternal grandmother, Sarah TYLER GORHAM in Marion Twp. ( p. 452).
