    3. Sharon, I do not believe that you are understanding what I am looking or... I know that some cemeteries do have only the Owners of the plot. But, surely, someone has a list of the actual parties buried there.I do know that Combs, at Quincy, and Samyria, in Morgan County, and Mannan in Morgan and Owen Counties, have lists of who is buried there... Yes, someone had to acquire the names, and some were acquired at the time of burial... Case in point, my gggrandmother is buried at Combs,in 1866, But, she does not have a stone, and as far as I know, never did, but, she is in the records. .. Also, my mother is at Samyria, and until 40 years ago,(she died in 1942) she didnt have a stone, and neither my brother nor my sister, had a stone, and still do not, yet, they are in the "Book" of Samyria...My wifes father is buried in a plot owned by a Church, in Linden NJ., but, the "Books", show him in the grave... So, they had to be added at the time of burial... These are the types of books I am looking for. As I said in previous letter, I have no intention of infringing on your Webpage, nor "stepping on your toes". I am just trying to obtain a record that should be made available to everyone. And there are a lot of people who are not physically able, or geographically located, to be able to go to the cemetery to copy stones. I have to believe that there is some kind of moral rule, if not a legal one, concerning the recordkeeping on burials. If there is not, there should be. I have explained again, my intent, and Have apologized again. If that does not, relieve your concerns, I can live with that. Dick Carter rcar37@prodigy.net
