Hi everyone, I understand that there were Whitted families in Putnam Co. IN and I am trying to make a connection between them and the Lawrence Co. IN Whitteds. My line was from Hillsboro N.C. back to 1702. My John Whitted b. Nov.22,1779 Hillsboro N.C. married Ruth Allen June 3,1803. Thier son John Jr. b. July 11,1814 in L.C. He married Rosana Cummings July 28,1839. Their daughter Eliza b. Dec. 2,1857 married Thomas Thornton Thompson b. Oct.11,1860 on April 7,1892. Their son John Wesley Thompson b. March 28,1893. He married Edith Viola Swafford Sept.19,1912 in L.C. According to records this Whitted lines from N.C. some came to Indiana others went to Tenn.etc. I would be interested in talking with anyone who might have the information in N.C.
