The Bureau of Land Management can be found at this site: http://www.glorecords.blm.gov/search/search.asp?s=9 Choose the state of Indiana and enter your ancestors name and see what turns up. You can actually see the "original" copy of the land record here. I have been luck and found middle names for my ancestors which I didn't even know they had....but it was on the land records.
