    3. The Bureau of Land Management can be found at this site: http://www.glorecords.blm.gov/search/search.asp?s=9 Choose the state of Indiana and enter your ancestors name and see what turns up. You can actually see the "original" copy of the land record here. I have been luck and found middle names for my ancestors which I didn't even know they had....but it was on the land records. You can check the land records in 30 states at this site. Have fun and be sure to "bookmark" the page because you'll want to go back again and again!!!! Good luck!
