My grandmother's grandfather was John N. EBERHART. I have a copy of a land record where he bought land in Putnam Co., IN on Nov. 10, 1840. The land Office was in Crawfordsville. One of John's brothers was George P. EBERHART who was b. in IN in 1841. He later married Rebecca GILL. The oldest sibling, we think, is Anna Catherine EBERHART who married Jeremiah BUFFINGTON in 1845 or there abouts. Does anyone have any Eberhart or Payne folks in their files who lived in IN in the 1830s and 1840s. John lived there with his family and he married Delilah PAYNE who lived in IN also in the 1830s and 1840s. They were married in Terre Haute, IN in 1850.
