Interested in any Landes Family from Putnam Co. in the 1800's. Some came from Pennsylvania and some from Pennsylvania via Virginia. I am looking for links to Christian Landes B-1710 in Switzerland to D-1782 in Pennsylvania. One of his son's was John Landes 1745-1819. He was married to a Catherine Miller D 1834. They had 10 children. John 8-1877 / Frances Breneman, Henry / Elizabeth Baker, Christian/Madalina Byerly, Barbara/ Daniel Landes, Elizabeth/ ? Eppard (went to Tenn), Catherine/ Joseph Byerly, Annie/Grodfrey Bolton (went to Tenn.) Susan, Samuel/ lst Sheets/ 2nd Betsey Welsh, ? Landes married to John Matthew? Some Landes' remained in Indiana, some moved on to Iowa, Tenn, Missouri and Kansas. Any information would be helpful. Willing to exchange.
