I've "rescued" an old photograph of John Elmer HARTSAW taken in Cloverdale, Indiana at the Knights Studio. The photo lists John's date of birth as 8 July 1903 and he appears to be 2-3 years of age at the time so I would guess that the photo was taken in 1905 or 1906. I know that John Elmer HARTSAW d. April 1982 in Cheyenne, Wyoming and that at some point in time he was in the State of Nebraska since that is where he applied and received his Social Security card. I'd like to find the family and return the photograph to their care, however, to date I've been unable to locate any relatives. It is a darling photo which should be on someone's mantle.
