I am looking for all information on Jefferson Melton that bought land in Morgan/Putnam Cos. 2-1-1851. I think that he is the Jefferson who married Nancy P. Westmoreland in Lawrence Co. in 1840. His father would be Nathaniel Melton of Lawrence Co. Anything on this guy will be extremely helpful. Thank you, Darla
