I'm researching the family of George SMITH and spouse Mary who were living in Jefferson Twp in 1850. Children included: William R., Martha, Malinda, Pleasant, Beason, Squire, John, and Lewis. George was b. NY abt 1795, and wife Mary b. abt 1800 in NC. The children were all born in Indiana which would mean George SMITH arrived in Indiana by 1826.
