Hi list, My question is about death certificates in Putnam County. I have a copy of the "Record of Deaths in County of Putnam County, IN" of Martin C. Hawley (d. 12 Mar 1926). Were death certificates issued or is the Record of Deaths the only record? If death certificates were issued, do I get a copy from Putnam Co. or Marion Co.? Roxanne Gough-Vargo

Is anyone researching the MATKINS that were in Putnam County 1800's?? I found last week that my ggg granparents were in Putnam County in the 1820's. Would appreciate any help in finding out more about them and who they are.
