Does anyone have information on my great-grandfather, Samuel Bolin, and his family (parents: Benjamin and Ellen)? I'm told that Samuel hailed from Putnam County, rather than Clay, where much of his family ended up, and he is buried at Croy's Creek. My grandmother also tells me that Benjamin Bolin was the first white child born after Clay County was incorporated. Does anyone have any verification of this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
