    3. Ancestry has posted a new database which will be free to the looking for about another week. This one is called Gene Pool. I tried a common spelling of one of my surnames and came up with 379 hits. There are entire families here folks.     3. John G. SWEENEY born about 1830 in NC. He married first Rutha Bradshaw 10-5-1853 in Putnam county.They had 3 known children: Alonzo who died at age 4. Harriet Elizabeth born 11-19-1855, she married Thomas Jefferson Jones Margaret born about 1859. John then married Lucy Ann Wright on 9-9-1860 in Putnam county and they had 3 children: Harrison born about 1863 Hester Hains born 3-6-1865 Hattie Hains born 3-6-1865 (this twin died 3-12-1865) Lucy Ann Wright died 5-19-1868 and John married AGAIN!! this time to Nancy Frank Scarborough on 3-2-1869 in Putnam county and they had 3 children(must have been a lucky number!) Andrew born about 1873 Ethyl born about 1881 Daisy born about 1888 Both John and his last wife Nancy are buried in Long Branch cemetery, they both died in 1914. His second wife Lucy Ann Wright and the twin girls are also buried there. His first wife Rutha is buried at Brick Chapel Cemetery. I am looking for some info regarding John's parents.
