    3. My ggggg-grandfather, Jonathan B. Humhreys, died in Putnam County around 1832. He had gone to Vermilion County, Illinois to claim land and fell ill when he got back to Putnam County to move his family. I have been unable to find a burial for him. Is there anyone out there who has any ideas as to how I might find his grave and some places where he might be buried? I'm particularly interested to find where he lived in Putnam County as he was probably buried near his home. I'd really appreciate any help anyone could give me as I have an aging cousin who is very interested in locating his grave and where he lived and I'd like to help him find it as soon as possible. Thank you! Lena __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Check out Yahoo! Shopping and Yahoo! Auctions for all of your unique holiday gifts! 3. Janet, I wonder if there is any relationship between ALEXANDERs in Johnson Co, Indiana and those in Putnam Co. I am looking for Alexanders in Johnson, but I am familiar with the name STALLCUP which was first in Johnson and moved to Putnam or a neighboring county circa 1830 or 1840. For what this is worth. 1. Wilson's In Putnam County
    2. Hi Everyone, I looked up the Wilson names mentioned today in a Family Tree Maker file that was submitted a few years ago by Jack Wilson of Greencastle, Indiana. There are about 320 Wilsons, in that family tree, including my Grandmother, Grandfather and my Uncle on the Wilson side. I did look for the names mentioned by Barbara Hammons Davis and cn1742@earthlink.net, but none of those show up in that file. However, Abel Wilson and Julia Ann Holsapple mentioned in the message by Pat Bishop Obrist are my 2nd great grandparents. He was born in Shelby County, Kentucky in 1814 and she was born in Washington County, Indiana in 1813. Pat, if you are interested I would be happy to pass on additional family information for both of those ancestors of mine. A number of those Wilson's are buried in the Palestine Cemetery in Putnam County. The listing of that cemetery is online at the GenWeb site for Putnam County Best of luck to all.
