    1. [INPUTNAM] James Nelson Sellers
    2. R S
    3. Does anyone have information on a James Nelson Sellers or Eliza Ann Chambers? I have James Nelson as son of William Harvey Sellers and Mariah Williams, being born sometime in 1831 in Putnam Co. He married Eliza Ann Chambers in Maries County, Mo. In 1862. Birth location of Eliza is unknown but I show the year as 1840. James Nelson died 4/1/1867 in Phelps Co., Mo. Eliza remaaried to a John Hatton 12/31/1876. They had 3 children: William Harvey Sellers 5/4/1863 George Washington Sellers 4/11/1865 John Jacob Sellers 2/14/1867 All three children were born in Phelps Co., Mo. I'm hoping to locate a copy of a birth certificate or some record for James and Eliza naming their parents, etc. Thanks in advance, Roger Sellers

    1. [INPUTNAM] Rogers/Rodgers family
    2. Looking for information on Cynthia, Nancy and Tighlman/Tilghman Rogers/Rodgers. Their father was Sanford Rogers. Last tracked Cynthia in the 1850 Washington twp., Putnam Co., Indiana census at age 14 with family. By the time 1860 census she was not listed with the family. Tighlman was listed in the 1850 and 1860 census with the family. By 1870 the family moved to Posey Twp., Clay Co. and either of them are with the family. Tighlman later was found in the 1900 Washington twp., Putnam Co, Census. I think that Cynthia most likely married between 1850 and 1860, but to whom? The Rogers/Rodgers family goes as such: Sanford Rogers and wife Rachel White, children: Cynthia 1836, Simpson 1838, Serilda 1840, Tighlman April 1843, Elias 1845/46, John W. 1850, Nancy about 1851, Sarah N. April 11, 1855, Harriet 1858 and Henry Sanford 1859. Tighlman was listed as alive on April 4, 1901 and living in Brazil, Indiana in Sanford's obit. The mother to all these children died between 1870 and 1880. If anyone would have any information on Rachel White-Rogers or any of the for mention family members it would be deeply appreciated. I think that Rachel must have died between 1870 and 1871 when the family almost all of them moved to Pottawatomie Co, Kansas in 1871 by Sanford's obit. He was listed living with his daughter Sarah and family as a widow in the 1880 census. I can be contacted at [email protected] Sincerely, Eva

    3. Can anyone help me with information on the location of the J.G. Fall Family Cemetery? It would appear that only two people are buried there--Jesse Fall and his daughter, Mary. He is my ggg-grandfather I think it is on the property which was once his farm. I believe it to be on the Old Creed Road near the covered bridge. Is there any additional information available? I will be in Indiana in October and would like to obtain more information, if possible. Thanks. Suzanne Clark Albert

    3. Bonnie, You might try http://www.rootsweb.com/~inputnam/cemeteries.htm to see if your GR Grandfather is listed in the Forest Hill Cemetery. If he is not there you might try http://www.gogreencastle.com/City/Cemetary/index.htm which contains the address and phone number of the person (Clark Robinson) that is suppose to be in charge of the cemetery. 3. Hi, A long time ago, I sent a request (with money and self-addressed, stamped envelope) for the Forest Hill Cemetery record of my gr-grandfather to the Greencastle, IN city office. I never received an answer (nor my money back). My question is: is there any way to go around the city officials to get the cemetery record? There doesn't seem to be a cemetery sexton listed anywhere. The bad thing is, the grave is the only thing I have to go on in order to find out more about him: state records don't show a death certificate for him, so he must have died in another state. Should I chance another shot at city officials by requesting any court papers (will, probate, etc.) he might have had? I'm willing to pay, but can't afford to have it be ignored again. Any help would be appreciated. Bonnie Sherman [email protected]
