Jim, would there be listings for the following: Isaac Alspaugh, Robert Reeves, John Darting, or Joseph Wells? Thank you so much for being so generous with your time. Carol

Who is looking for Barnabus Russell? I'd like to make contact if I haven't before now.. However this may be a kinsman who sent the query. Ellie S.
I have the 1850 and 1860 Indiana census on cd and have just checked the page numbers on all of the 1850 Putnam Co. census and all of the page numbers fall into the correct order....for whatever that might be worth. I will do lookups for up to three names at a time for these census, a specific name...not just Smith or Jones, etc. There are approximately 250 pages in the 1850 census. The format for the 1860 census is totally different and is not a view of the actual pages. I will leave it up to Sharon whether requests will be answered to the group or to the inquiring individual. I will not be able to answer as quickly as Jim as I do work. Phoebe Pantier Bush
Has anyone else found this? I believe that a portion of the 1850 census, probably in Putnam County, but possibly in Wayne County, is missing. The following people were in Wayne during the 1840's, then Putnam in the 1850's but are not found on the 1850 census anywhere. Susan Connett (Conant) widow born Maryland ca 1793 James and Phebe Baker Sylvester and Hulda Baker Lorenzo and Eliza Baker They were probably related so they may have all been on one page. Jim . . Harold, I have found at least 15 children listed 16 with my Winnie for Jesse and Doshua Wright. Doshua Peyton's mother was Winnifred and also we have an daughter of Jesse brother Ellis Wright named Winnifred (various spelling for this) Sidney and also a granddaughter of Jesse and Doshua. This plus the fact that my Winnie and Cornelius Jenkins are in same area at the same times as this Wright/Peyton family is what I base my theory on. But as I said no proof apparently Jesse did not leave a will to help or any other documents. Some day perhaps someone will find proof.... Marjorie
