    2. Joyce, I have a favor to ask of you. Tipcoa has copies of the early Lafayette city directories or they did when I visited there in 1975 . I would like zerox copies of the pages from each directory with the names Blades, Bissig, Rauch on them.and the title page for each directory. I think the earliest directory would be starting with the mid 1850's. thru at least 1890. I know this is a lot. If you can only do a few I would appreciate it. Let me know what your fee will be and I will send you a check or money order. If yu don't want to do this I will understand. I live in Georgia and hope there might be a possibility that I can make a trip next year. Let me know what you decide. Thanks Virginia P S. If I can help you with anything from this area I will be glad to do it. I have both the National and State Archives here. I don't know where a National Archives is in your area. I live about fifteen miles from Atlanta.

    3. My experience with libraries is that old records, prior to 1900 cannot be put on a copying machine, but I may be wrong.
