Here's a mystery someone might be able to help with. The story in our family was that several of Stewart BROWN's sons served in the Civil War and that one or more ran off to join up with the Confederates. To date, we've only been able to identify two sons that served in Union regiments - Martin and John Brown. Supposedly the Pulaski Co. Confederate soldiers and widows pension fund list of 11 Dec. 1920, includes an Ellen Brown. One of Stewart's sons DID marry an Ellen, but I've never been able to determine whether this is the same Ellen from our family. Anyone have any clues or ideas to help solve this mystery? Cindy Kimes
