    3. You can find Civil War information by plugging in Civil War Indiana, there are histories of all the regiments on the internet. You can also send to the National Archives and Record Administration (try NARA on the internet) for an address for Civil War papers. My father's name is Frederick Harper, and, his father was named Lloyd Harper. Any additional information to that would be more than I have now, for that is about all I have on that line. However, my grandmother, Rowena Maddox Harper, descinded from the George Maddox and Hiram Kessinger families, both of whom I have reason to believe served in Indiana units of the Civil War, possibly George in the 151st Regiment and Hiram in the 53rd (from the Harrison County area?). I have further reason to believe they were both members of the Grand Army of the Republic (GAR) in Pulaski County. Any information would be appreciated.... ==== INPULASK Mailing List ==== Visit Pulaski County INGenWeb: http://www.rootsweb.com/~inpulask/ http://lists.rootsweb.com/index/usa/IN/pulaski.html
