My husband's great (x2) grandmother was Eva James. Eva was born Mar 20, 1887 and died Nov 1, 1962 in Buchanan, MI as Eva Bristol. According to papers from the funeral home, Eva's father was Sampson James and her mother was Ella Clark. I haven't been able to find anything on them, however, I did find a Sampson James that married a Lillie Clark in Pulaski Co. IN on Jan 31, 1886. I am wondering if this is the couple I am searching for. (Eva's siblings are: Homer, Ernest, Nora, and Lizzie.) Any help would be appreciated.
