Ruby and Ruth Grolo are two separate people. Ruby E. Grolo is Lelia and Charles Grolo's oldest daughter. She was born September 14, 1901. She married Francis T. Lynch on September 20, 1919 and appears with him on the 1920 census. Ruth Juanita (aka Sally) Grolo was born February 27, 1904. She married Charles W. Elkin August 5, 1925. In 1930, they are living in Cook County, IL where Charles was a teacher. Charles R. Grolo was born July 28, 1908. He died before the 1910 census was taken. Beulah Darline (aka Dolly) Grolo was born March 30, 1910. In 1920, she was living with her maternal grandparents, Wm. and Eva Ambler. She did marry young (at 16) November 10, 1926 to Alfred Lee Milligan who had to get Charles' consent to marry her. Lee was 17 years older than Dolly. Evelyn Gertrude Grolo was born May 3, 1912. She married Donald Albert Ray in November 1929 with whom she had three children. She later married George Kirts and Earl Bogard. Joseph Willard Groleau (my grandfather) was born June 30, 1914. Crites info indicates Elizabeth was born Aug 31, 1815, married Henry Crites in Stark County OH Feb. 17, 1834. They had Leah, Hannah, Sarah, Magdalena (Lannah), Lydia and Mary Ann. She and Henry moved to Indiana around 1870, lived next door to Mary Ann (Davis). She died July 25, 1875 in Winamac IN. She is buried in Reed/Gross Cemetary in Winimac. Most all our ancestors came from Germany. I'll keep your name on file in case something comes up as several cousins are still searching for her lineage.
