She was, according to her daughter, the oldest of three. As far as I know she only had a brother Peter, and a sister Carrie. Her father was Charles Bradley and her mother Charlotte. My father left when I was very young and I only had sporadic contact with his sister so I'd love to know more! My gmother had 6 children, 1 girl and 5 boys, one of which was my father, Oral Oliver Rearick. Please let me know if you think we connect! I supose Charlotte could have had a second marriage. I found him in the 1860 census in Tippecanoe, Pulaski, Indiana. It lists: Ferdinand Sittle 37; Elizabeth M Sittle 36;Anjaline Sittle 14; Levi Sittle 9; Louisa Sittle 5; Caroline Sittle 4; and William Sittle 1. In the 1870 census they were in the same place and the names listed are: Ferdinand Sidal 50; Elizabeth Sidal 50; Levi Sidal 20; Louisa Sidal 16; Caroline Sidal 14; William Sidal 11; and Henry Sidal 8. In the 1880 census in Winamac, Pulaski, Indiana the names are: Ferdnan Sidel 57; Levi Sidel 28; William Sidel 22; Henry Sidel 19; and Ama Dolitte (servant) 37. Elizabeth must have died between the 1870 and 1880 census (no proof)? In the 1900 census Ferdinand Seidel 78 is listed with Josephine Seidel 60, and they had been married 10 years. I am interested in Louisa Siedel who, I believe, married James Miller. "I think" they are my great grandparents making Ferdinand and Elizabeth my greatgreatgrandparents. I believe we! are researching the same family. I'm sorry I have no further info on Luzetta and the Bauer connection. Any additional info you have would be appreciated! I just finished putting the obit into my tree and was wondering which of the girls married a Zanger and "Bingo!" here you are with the answer! The other one is probably a long stretch. Julia Sigler was living with Daniel Sigler and his wife Mary in the 1850 census. Then she married Wm. Shipman Huddleston in 1851. I don't think she was even 16 yet. But she was an orphan and Daniel and Mary had never had children. I think that Daniel worked for the county in the land department according to the census. I have never been able to find a death for either one. If there is a cemetery index, etc, maybe you could check for me if you find time. The bios in the Pulaski records indicate that Wm S. Huddleston was quite prominant. Is there someone you can suggest I contact to see if there might be a picture of Julia or Wm. in the archives there in Winamac? Her obituary says that they lived across the stree from the court house for 50 years. Thanks for any suggestions and also for the information you sent earlier.
