They orginally settled in Pulaski County which leads me to believe they might have had relatives in that area. They came to the USA in 1852 from Germany. They went on to La Porte County and stayed there. I know that some members of the family returned to Pulaski County, probably in the 1930's to go hunting which also makes me think they knew someone. The infant is buried with some relatives of Richard B. I am thinking that Eliza's marker, if there was one, was lost early on and I am hopeful that if there are old original records, however poor, knowing the date of her burial might give me a clue as to her burial spot.
