Using the online obits from the Fulton Co library along with census records, think I've finally figured out how Ellis connects to the BROWNs from the Kewanna area. Generation No. 1 1. MARY BROWN (dau of SALATHIEL) was born 1861 in IN, and died 1946. She married ENOCH M. MOORE 18 January 1881 in Fulton Co, IN. He was born 10 September 1851 in Fulton Co, IN, and died 26 May 1915 in Wayne Twp, Fulton Co, IN. Children of MARY (Mollie) BROWN and ENOCH MOORE are: i. LEOLA MOORE. ii. ELSIE MOORE. iii. LELIA MOORE. iv. LOTTIE MOORE. v. EARL MOORE. vi. MERRILL MOORE, b. 17 December 1881; d. 12 September 1882. vii. MONA B. MOORE, b. 1891; d. Aft. 31 March 1960. Generation No. 2 2. MONA (Monnie) MOORE (granddau of SALATHIEL) was born 1891. She married ELLIS V. BARKER 15 April 1911, son of RICHARD BARKER. Children of MONA MOORE and ELLIS BARKER are: i. DORIS BARKER, m. Indiana. He was 16 years old, (born about 1864) born in Ohio. His father was born in Pennsylvania, his mother in Ohio. CHARLES HISS is said to be a nephew of the family. The GESY family was from Seneca County, Ohio. Could there be a PFRANGLE name associated with HISS? Does anyone have any information on CHARLES HISS? Thanks.
