    3. A couple people mentioned the Presbyterian cemetery and the Indian Creek Cemetery. (Thank you!) Aren't both of these cemeteries included in the reference covering cemeteries in Indian Creek Township? I didn't record the particular cemeteries from that volume, but looked in the index for Ulysses and Alice Brown. They were NOT listed. I even looked under DAILY (Alice's maiden name!). I'm guessing Indian Creek Presbyterian in Cass Co is the cemetery I need to look at. Cass County, here I come! 2. I have ordered death certificates from the State office, when the records were not available in Pulaski County. For some reason the deaths were not filed on the County level but the State had copies. The copies are photo's of the originals. You can print the request form from their web site. Provide them with as much info as possible. The State does not have an index for some of the years. The response time is usually between two to four weeks. Lucinda LeBel

    2. Cindy, Perhaps you should look in Cass County, Indiana. When I saw Harrison Funeral Home, I first thought of Royal Center, Cass County, Indiana, I always remembered the funeral home when we made trips to Logansport, so I did a search to see if it was still in operation. Below is a Death notice from the Indianapolis Star. Looks like it is called Harrison-Metzger Funeral Home, it is located on US Highway 35, I would say it is about 8 miles south of Star City, Van Buren Township, Pulaski County. Royal Center is in Boone Township, Cass County. Here is the address and phone number I have for the Harrison-Metzger Funeral Home: Harrison-Metzger Funeral Homes. 304 S. Chicago St. Royal Center, IN 46978 574-643-2265. "Indiana Deaths. October 02, 2002. ... Logansport -- Thomas Herd Haselby, 88, husband of Mary Jean Winn Haselby (Harrison-Metzger Funeral Home, Royal Center). ." There is an Indian Creek Church and Indian Creek Cemetery located in Cass County not far from Royal Center, I would say about 3 miles (East and North), it is located approximately about a mile or so where Fulton, Pulaski and Cass Counties come together. Almost 9 miles directly south of Kewanna, Fulton County, Indiana. I am thinking that this Church and Cemetery are located in Harrison Township, Cass County, Indiana. Harrison Township, Cass County Indiana communities include: Leases Corner and Lucerne. Boone Township communities include: Royal Center. I have found from experience, that the records that the Health Department have from the early deaths are not as complete as the State records. Lucinda LeBel
