Melissa, Thank you. I was unaware of this site until someone else was kind enough to send it to me also. I did get the obituary. I have the site bookmarked now and will be checking it often. I grew up in Winamac but left in 1966, I am in AZ now. ***Not my relation, but I see where the mother of a childhood friend of mine just passed away. Did you find anything on the ancestors of John P. Miller? I am also a descendent of his (thru his third wife, Mary Ann Blessing). I have also hit a block there. My grandmother did some research in Indiana in the 80's and copied some info from a book called "Pulaski County Indiana History of 1898" or something like that. I don't know if there was more info in the book or not -sounds like you may have already found that though. I'm also looking for information on the Enyeart Family. Reuben Abram Miller married an Ida M. Enyeart (b. 11/11/1866) in 1890 in Pulaski County. She had siblings Kate and John.

Marsha, Thank you for sending the obit. As I look at the Surnames you are researching it brings back a lot of old memories. Hedger...I grew up 1/2 block from Mary Hedger and her children on Agnew st.. Are you one of them. Mary had a daughter Marsha and a son Billie and a daughter Louise, I believe. Podell, I went to high school with Phyllis and Bonnie Podell. Shelhart, I lived across the street from Horace Shelhart and family after I married Ronnie Hunter.. Corner of Hathaway and 17th st. Anyway, thank you again. A few weeks ago someone on this list was kind enough to post the obituary of Daisy Hunter. I thought that was so kind and I was very thankful to receive that information. I understand that Dorothy Ewing just passed away. If someone still has a copy of that newspaper would they please post that obituary?. I know of a researcher in New York and of course myself here in Arizona who would like the information. Thank you very much, Donna (Shearer-Hunter) Cotter
The search function will also search sites that are LINKED to the InPulask site. Yes, it's nice, isn't it. I'm glad you found that. I just added the search feature a week or so ago. It's been a while since I visited the Pulaski Co website at http://www.rootsweb.com/~inpulask/ Especially nice is the new search feature to quickly find info on certain surnames, etc. Question: Why does a search produce info from other counties? Even though I clicked the option "search this site" there were several links to other counties in Indiana and other States. Not that I didn't enjoy reading the info.... just wondering why these were included! Cindy Kimes
Does anyone have access to marriage records to look for a Catherine Brown that married after 1886 but before 1900? I'm trying to find out the surname for the David married to Mrs. Martin Brown. Catherine A. Enyeart first married Martin Brown; he died 1886, and by 1900 she was remarried, living with David ???? The 1900 census page is hard to read and I can't decipher the name. Thanks.
