Lived in Brandon for 10 years now live in Independence. For reasons unknown to any of us there must have been some sort of rift in family because mother-in-law didn't talk about them. Sister-in-law did research and printed a book on Sommerfelt & Weltzin families back in 1985 or 86. Compiled it into one book because the two families entermarried so many times. Have been getting some more info but slow in coming. If you haven't seen her book & would like to let me know. She may still have some copies available.
