I am looking for a Karl Friederich Dietz, born Feb. 10, 1835 in Wachenheim, Hessen Darmstadt. Sometime between then and 1858 he came to the America's and settled in Belleville, Illinois. I know one of his son's because that is my husband's great grandpa but other than that we are stumped. He did marry an Elizabeth Mueller. Also trying to connect a Joseph Dietz, born Oct 10, 1837 in Deidesheim, Bavaria. He came to America with his mother Thekla Brenner at the age of 14. A step father, Joseph Brenner and step sister also came. Joseph D. had a brother Franz living in Belleville Area also. Thank you!
