I believe Clement Whiting first married Sarah Endicott and had at least 4 children including a William J. born 1 May 1820. This William J. married Julie E Pollard. Clement married second Sarah Nash and had at least 7 more children but I don't show a second William. William J. Whiting and Julia Pollard have a son William Thorton Whiting b. 1837 and he married Matilda Nesbit. Is this your William? I have other William's without good birth dates and would be glad to exchange info.
