    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: McFadden, McFadin, Bradley, Hancock, Breeze, Hogan, Bell Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Zi.2ADE/1129.1325.1330.1328.1334.1339.1340.1349.1.2.1.1.1.1 Message Board Post: Hi, Jenny...glad to hear the 1740 b-date...matches what I have. As to the connection of McFadden and Bell families ---- here's hoping I get all this written down correctly..... John Bradley (son of Cornelius Bradley and Mary Hogan) married Hannah McFadden....John Bradley was brother to David R.E.A.D. Bradley whose daughter Lucretia married John Hancock...John Hancock's daughter Hannah married William Breeze....William Breeze's daughter Molly married Warren Spencer Bell who is great-great-grandfather (direct line Bell ancestor) to my daughter. Note that Mary Hogan who married Cornelius Bradley was from Ireland and she was born about 1755 and died before 1806. Do not have any proof of connection with Raleigh Hogan who married Peggy Conway and their daughter Vollie Hogan (b. ~1750, d. 1840) who was the widow of Aaron Burlison when she married Andrew J. McFadin Sr. (b. Apr 1750, d. Feb 1816) and also Raleigh's daughter(?) Rebecca Hogan. All of this is what has made researching the family history so much fun!! Just never know who you'll find connected to who....so, I have kept track of most every individual related somehow to the Bell family through Posey County and then going back more generations to the colonies -- mostly through KY and TN to NC, VA and other places. Hope this is clear enough and answers your question, even though I realize it raises some others.... ej
