He was born in Poseyville Sept. 17, 1861. James' father was Joseph Wallace, mother was Mary Elizabeth Watson. I have this couple's marriage as Posey, IN., 1857. James and Anna apparantly were married in Harrisburg, Saline County, Illinois July 27, 1887. Anna's father was William Lawyer born April 10, 1842 in Washington County, IN. Her mother was Louisa Blackburn born 1846, Johnson County Kentucky. This couple's marriage was July 14, 1864 in Salem, Indiana. Any information on this family would be a help. Thank you...
