As far as I know right now, Eugene & Theresa are not related to the Schmitt's that I'm following Albert Schmitt son of Johann Baptiste Schmitt & Maria Anne Steibli. Albert & Margret Tieken/Tiegen's son Bernard Schmitt married my grandmother's, Anna Catherine [Katie] Gries Scheller Gumble, sister, Gertrude Gries.
