Aaron Moore, born Jan 23, 1792 in GA; died Apr 24, 1855 in Posey Co., IN; married Jane Givens Bef. 1817 in Posey Co., IN; born 1798 in KY. GA late 1700s, came to Posey Co. in early 1800s and is listed on deed with Leonard Moore -- relationship uncertain Deed is in book K p. 576 for 1841 in Posey Co., IN, for an indenture for transfer of land inherited by Jane, wife of Leonard Moore (jr.) to Aaron Moore (Sr.), with Alfred Moore as attestee. The 1880 Henderson Co., KY census states that Leonard parents were born in GA (father) and KY (mother Jane Givens). Both Leonard and Alfred are of the age to be the 2 males under ten listed with Aaron Moore in the 1820 Posey Co., IN census.
