VA through their son, Jared, Jr b 1768 Fauquier Co, VA d 1845 Clinton Co.,OH and his wife, Nancy MARSHALL. Their son, John MCDONALD b 1801, Fauquier Co., VA and his wife, Maria PERRY b 1801 d 1836 OH, had a son, James Fewell MCDONALD b 1825 d 1909 in Vanderburgh Co., IN. He married Matilda MARTIN, daughter of Charles MARTIN and Frances ROOK. I have been researching this family for several years and have a great deal of info. Samuel Jared MCDONALD, also a son of Jared and Nancy MCDONALD, b 1799 Fauwuier Co., VA d 1885 IN migrated to southern Indiana, as well. He married Elizabeth GRAVES.
