The Harmonists left Harmony, Butler Co., PA is 1814 and followed their partriarch, Father Rapp, to New Harmony, IN. In 1824 they gave it up and, what was left of them, returned to Harmony, PA. They practiced celibacy and the men and women lived separately in dormitories. So it is unlikely that your ancestor is descended from them. My ancestors bought land from the departing Rappites in 1824. Many of their buildings, including their dormitories, are still standing in New Harmony.
