He and his wife, Jeanette, had 11 children. I am from child #9, Franklin Pierce Stevens. Franklin and his family moved to TX abt. 1881. I have a copy of a letter from Jeanette to Franklin telling him about his father's death. Would like to share what I have with you. Linda Thaxton
