Janet, Hi, having just a few months ago, made my first trip to the Posey County area with limited amount of time there for research, I'd like to make the following suggestions: 1. do go to the public library in Mt. Vernon -- right on the main street so you can't miss it. The staff there are very helpful and they have a good corner area on genealogy. 2. DO go to Evansville and hit the library there -- just off the freeway so it too is easy to find and is worth the stop if only to look at the wonderful architecture and beautiful restoration of the building!! The staff there are wonderfully helpful and the genealogy floor has an incredible amount of information on the local southern IN area. Good hunting! ej -----Original Message----- From: Janet Douglas <[email protected]> To: [email protected] <[email protected]> Date: Thursday, April 27, 2000 11:56 PM Subject: [INPOSEY] Posey County Cemetery >Where is the Bellfontaine Cemetery located and how do I get there from I64 >coming from Princeton, IN?. > >How do I get information about my mother's aunt who was buried in >Bellfontaine Cemetery? > > Is it on the Internet?
